Mc Intire was born, March 9, 1942, a daughter of the late Clarence V. She was a graduate of North Kansas City High School and married her high school sweetheart Mac in 1960. After her husband’s retirement they moved to Bella Vista, AR where she held a position at the GMC Buick dealership as customer service concierge.
She was a member of Cross Church in Rogers, AR and was involved in many activities in the village including golf, quilting and gardening.
She was a member of Ottaray Baptist Church and was a loving wife and mother. Active pallbearers will be the following grandsons, Steven Mc Abee, Kevin Mc Abee, Wade Mc Abee and also Calvin Mc Bee, Robert Calhoun and Randy Mc Abee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin brother, Harold Austin and a sister, Delitha Austin. He was a graduate of Union High School and was retired from Torrington Company—Tyger River Plant. He was the assistant Union High School Girls Softball Coach for 11 years during which time his teams won 4 Upper State Titles and 3 State Championships. Valentine also coached Dixie Youth Baseball, he was a former Volunteer Firefighter with the City of Union for 37 years and was a Shriner. Active pallbearers will be Neil Valentine, Steve Morrow, Kevin Morrow, Lanny Valentine, David Valentine, Robert Valentine, and Brad Valentine. He was a graduate of Jonesville High School and received his bachelor degree from Wofford College. Varner retired from Delta Mills, Beattie Plant and was of the Baptist faith. School for the Deaf and Blind in Spartanburg and was retired from Milliken and Co., Monarch Plant. Sistrunk was a member of Mon Aetna Baptist Church where she was active in the Deaf Ministry. Carlisle Freeman “Red Dog” Reardon, age 63, husband of Betty Strickland Reardon, of 1332 Lovers Lane, Whitmire, passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Reardon was born October 16, 1954 in Union a son of Betty Ashe Steen of Lockhart and the late Carl Reardon.

Sistrunk was born in Chester, October 8, 1933, a daughter of the late John Joe Bass and Carry Lou Feaster Bass. Visitation will be held in the church following the service. Those fortunate enough to know her remember a fierce, unapologetic walk of faith. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Traci Lachelle Millwood and fiancé Steven Dabbs of Union; two sons: Samuel Drake Millwood and girlfriend Melanie Greene and Jeffery Warren Millwood all of Union; a sister, Patsy Boulware and husband Donnie of Buffalo; eight grandchildren: Dylan Millwood, Candice Wright, Lacey Millwood, Madison Phipps, Amanda Millwood, Leah Whitmore, Emily Millwood and Marissa Millwood; two great grandchildren: Matthew Joseph Millwood and Delaney Price. She was born in the Sardis community of Union Co., May 17, 1932, a daughter of the late George B. She enjoyed growing flowers, bird watching, traveling, her cats, crocheting and reading her Bible until her sight failed her. He was a graduate of Union High School and was a Supervisor with United Merchant until it closed. Williams was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II and received a Purple Heart with cluster for his service. William Gilbert “Bill” Gregory, age 83, husband of Lillie Keisler Gregory of 108 Fourth St., Union, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Gregory was born in Gaffney, June 27, 1934, a son of the late Robert Vance Gregory and Bertha Bruce Gregory. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Sheila Alexander of Ninety Six and Susan Erskin and husband Charlie of Greenwood; three sons, Wendell Franklin Gregory and wife Jane of Gray Court, Terry Gilbert Gregory and wife Jan of Greenwood and W. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held atat the chapel prior to the services. Guyton and five brothers, Roger, Ronnie, Jerry, Marvin, Joe Leonard and Willie Lipsey, Jr. Martha Lucille Ivey Shaw, joined her husband, James William Shaw and her son, James William “Billy” Shaw, Jr. She was retired from Conso in Adamsburg and was a life long member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Shaw was born in Union, June 15, 1923 a daughter of the late Charles and Ettiwese Ivey.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Audry Coddington and husband Jim of Lake Winnebago, MO and Kimberlee Sanchez and husband Dr. A celebration of life service will be heldafter a long illness. Bowman was born in Lovelady Township, Caldwell Co., NC, June 18, 1949 a son of the late Robert Arnold Bowman and Viola Hollar Bowman. Bowman was employed Tietex International and had also worked as a supervisor with Watts Mill.
Anthony “Tony” Sanchez of Spartanburg, SC; one son, Doug Mc Intire and wife Tina of Bella Vista, AR; four grandsons, Corey Coddington, Drew Sanchez, Reed Sanchez and Cole Sanchez; two brothers, Larry Guthrie of Indiana and Dennis Guthrie of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Marge De Hart of Wimberling, TX and two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Autumn Coddington. He was a member of Tanglewood Missionary Baptist Church where he played the guitar and banjo and sang for the Lord.
